For people wondering, for the cooking show, they have an initial round in which people are brought in and the worst are chosen as contestants (which is where a lot of those clips were from). They then try to teach them how to cook right and now whoever can cook the best after instructions wins the show. So it’s supposed to be biggest improvement wins, which is why it seems paradoxically like they’re trying to be as bad and as good as possible at the same time, because those are different rounds.

Fun fact. In parts of south America people will cut bananas in half and put them in the freezer for a couple of hours or a day. After that they will melt chocolate and cover the bananas in it. You can either eat them in the moment or leave them in the fridge for longer, they taste really good and look better than the picture showed in the video.....most of the times.
