I felt so bad for the skaters. I could tell immediately the skaters were uncomfortable, unsteady and off balance. Obviously they are fabulous and skilled skaters to be able to do what they do! However I am with you Tim, that has to be a plastic ice rink, surely. Would love to see the show in a few weeks time when they have had more time to get used to the plastic rink. Kudos to them as performers. Lovely to see an open air skating show like this in a Disney park ⛸️🥰

The One Christmas Song That Without Fail Does It For Me Every Year More So Than Any Other Is Always, Bruce Springsteen's Version Of, "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!!" In fact I grew up in NJ, but moved over to the Tampa area of Florida at age 29, in November of 1994. One of the last things I did, while living in NJ, during Christmas 1991, was make a series of Christmas Music Cassettes off the various radio stations playing holiday tunes on the couple of days leading up to Christmas, and one of the 1st ones I was able to catch on tape was Springsteen doing That Song anyway, fast-forward to 1994, and my 1st couple of years in Florida, it turned out Not to be the easiest emotional transition for me to go from NJ, and everything that I knew that had been familiar to me, now to FL, and to essentially start all over again from scratch in a whole new other place now, and it was hard, and honestly I wasn't At All Ready for just how difficult that transition was going to be for me, and yes I had family In Florida & family that came down with me from NJ, but not every family is able to be the most understanding or supportive, which sadly, was also not much help, but in the trunk of my car at the time, I managed to stumble acrossed those Christmas tapes I'd made during my last good Christmas in NJ popped one into the cassette player in my car and the 1st song that played was Springsteen doing Santa Claus Is Comin'To Town, and suddenly I felt So Soothed by it because it was a reminder to me of much better, happier times. I think I played that song on repeat about 6 times that afternoon, beltin' my little heart out right along with it at the very top of my voice. Car windows rolled up of course, because I can't sing to save my own soul, and I don't believe it's fair of me to frighten or torture other people with what I refer to as the sound that is more noise than joyful, in my attempts at, "singing!!" So yeah that song kinda means a lot to me. It's not truly Christmas for me till I hear that one, and I will listen to it at any time of year too, not just at the holidays, yes I get weird looks from folks, but I've always kinda been just slightly left of center anyway so I'm used to getting weird looks , has happened all the time for as long as ai can remember, and I've gotten OK with it over time.
