I worked for a carnival unique to the state of Hawaii for over 25 yrs and never got to go to IAPPA they always held going over our heads ….I Moved on and then a few years ago I went on the you tubes with Tim Tracker … Thankyou !!!!

When I was a kid I was badass at the Gravitron. I would do all sorts of tricks and stuff. If I rode it now, I would throw up for days. 😂 I’m super excited for the tilt coaster. Gravity Max in Taiwan has been on my bucket list for years, but now I can just drive to Ohio instead.

IAPPA looks interesting. I would go atleast once in my life if possible in future. 👏 Jenn you are braver and able to handle that crazy ride better than I ever would be able to. 👏 Even when I was in my 20s I wouldn't ride anything that went upside down or twisted around so much. I used to love riding the Gravitron style ride at fairs when I was younger. I don't think I could do it these days due to the spinning. No ride would be worth it imo for throwing up all over the place Jenn. Feet up and one eyebrow up! LOL The singing animals are unique. So was the ball throwing toilet game. Brave soul Jenn, I couldn't have been talked onto that ride. I would have been voicing your same sentiments and probably been a dark shade of green at the end.

Also, MV rides is Martin & Vleminckx, they've been building wood coasters a long time, usually for other designers. However they started building their own wood roller coasters also, and now they also sell other rides.

That Avalanche ride used to be a one-of-a-kind ride at Wonderland in Canada. It's a very inconsistent ride experience. I went on it once and thought it was more tame than their pendulum ride, then went on it again and by the first full flip was begging for the ride to end it was just so intense. At its peak, it's 154 feet tall and swings you around at 75 mph. I'd say it is worth exactly one go.

I used to be able to ride all of those and go back for seconds but now I can't ride anything that goes 'back and forth' like a swing. Even ferris wheels where you go backwards, then up and then forward and down. That 'draw' backwards makes me feel so sick. The Gravitron type one, we had that one (it was called Rotor here) long before Gravitron ... HUGE wedgie maker when the floor dropped out.
