Been going through neurological issues on and off a few years now. Looks like it's going to go down as FND. Thanks for sharing, stay strong 👍

FND is a very strange diagnosis, as people show so many varying symptoms, as well as due to the fact that it isn't quite understood by scientists yet. Lots of hypothetical theories and assumptions by many doctors. My most difficult thing, is during difficult days, weeks, remembering that it is likely to adjust to something better soon. For instance, I am often hitting me head from tics certain weeks, or some weeks I can barely speak normal, from either not being able to speak, or only whispering or yelling, no normal tone, volume, etc. I certainly get breakdowns when I feel like, dangit, so this is the new me? -> I need to recall that this too shall pass. Best wishes to you Bruce. I hope that you learn some things to help cope with your symptoms

I have FND as well. Just diagnosed while I don't have seizures on tics I do also start having symptoms while driving. Particularly neck pain/head pressure or tremors.

Yea, I can’t drive. I get stuck looking up at times, legs tensing too. Among other things. I miss driving. The independence, ability to travel, to go help others more, etc. I’m sorry for your diagnosis. Things get better a bit as far as the stigma, most moments, days. Getting used to the new you, etc. Some end up getting rid of symptoms too :)

@@brianbordenkircher52 I'm still driving when I can as I was just diagnosed the 17th. I see a chiropractor tomorrow and I hope that helps. If not I'll probably stop, don't want to put my children or others at risk as I've also lost complete function of my right arm once while also driving. It pulled into my chest for 10 min. I'm glad I found your page and others who are also experiencing similar issues
