Really enjoy the diversity in this particular play through, makes it feel very fresh and new as compared to the just running DPUH and grog all the way to level 80

@@SiraxPrime i agree that its unbalanced but the rest isnt really real, its always the rethoric of "melee is useless, jakobs guns dont work, sniping isnt effective, assault rifles dont de enough damage" meanwhile I have a krieg with a bloodlust melee hybrid with not so optmized gear and im doing fine 80% of the time without even using moxxy weapons and the problem is only as you say on the peak itself, the dumb fights like jackestein or rex and invincibles like vora, dexi and hyperius...

Off Handing stats probably has a similar story to rocket jumping in source engine games, it started as a bug but it became a feature when the developers realized that it allows for interesting builds. They probably weren't really thinking about weapons like the lady fist and grog nozzle though :P

Not that anyone will ever read this anyway but: The reason I main Moze in BL 3 is exactly what you're talking about @ around 17:20 Zane and Fl4k *need* to play "on action skill use activate break effect" anointed Stop-Gap or equivalent just to stay alive. Amara can have infinite health with elemental weapons so while also on the verge of one-taps at least she can heal from healthgate to full in a single shot. Moze is the only one I found where a "normal" playstile is possible with her tree focused on boosting shields, deathless artifact and Bloodletter class mod. And even with the casual 600k shield I have (thanks to a a Plus-Ultra with extra shield after leaving Iron Bear) being in fight for your life is not something that's abolished. It's just insane how for most of the Borderlands-series the endgame has you technically on one 2 health and you need to "cheat" your way out of that situation.

I actually really miss borderlands, I'm not really knowledgeable on borderlands I mean I've played borderlands 2, pre and borderlands 3 and I know which are good legends but watching you play and seeing that there's more to borderlands than just the weapons. When you were talking about the constant upgrade in levels, you hit it on the nail. This entire keep going up on levels, it adds more grind to the game and with parts and enchants and stuff that you already have to grind an exponential time for, then you go and increase the level where all that grinding and time wasted only to add another level cap, well that's needless to say why I don't play bl3 or wonderlands anymore.

Cannot agree more with the balance of Borderlands Titles. Borderlands 1 and Pre Sequel really made everything feel viable and still challenging in ways. Probably my favourite games in the history of Borderlands for that reason alone.

A bit of random, and propably not too useful, info is that you can skip the last fer frames on some reloads. If you hold down the fire button while reloading and then press melee while keeping the fire button held once you see the ammo counter refill, you can potentially skip the last few moments of a reload. I find it’s mainly useful on Torgue or Jakobs weapons that tend to have slower reload speeds
