This is why I play with Community Patch. Middle Tree DoT build is actually effective due to the rebalance of how burns work. You should still get Anarchy, because, well, Anarchy, but it is no where near a requirement and more of an added bonus than anything else. Losing stacks doesn't mean much, and sometimes you want to lose them and proc Discord for the accuracy if you are using a high status chance Sniper (my favorite in Community Patch is Storm actually).
