I love that the inspire's redtext is a reference to Payday 2. Inspire is a skill where it gives you faster revive time and the ability to shout revive your downed teammates, and shout at them for temporary movement speed. The red text is one of the voicelines from a lot of the playable characters

Striker Guts goes HARD on Axton, thanks to the mod making him great for explosive weapon/shotgun builds. Insanely good weapon on him. Also Rocket Jumper might be one of my fave weapons from the mods, it's lovely with a decent Sham (or a perfect run if you ran Snowbound with the Spare Parts mod like me)

I recognized the Inspire shield's reference when I saw the red text; it's a meme of the Inspire aced skill from the game Payday 2. one of the characters (Chains, I believe) shouts the red text to revive teammates from a distance if he has that skill.

Was definitely not expecting a BTD6 reference in this mod DDT stands for Dark Dirigible Titan, and its a very fast black blimp with camo on it, and the red text is referring to one of the game modes being named Impoppable, and also probably referencing how tough that bloon is because it can only be damaged by something that can hit lead (which the DDT is made of), not explosive (black bloons are immune to explosive damage), and that can see camo

Some of the new drops are insane. I got the Unmaker yesterday and so far with just 2 of the keys it's beyond broken. The Unforgiven is also insane, the dev gave it a monstrous 1670% crit damage up, or at least the one I found did.

I don't know what the reference actually is for the DDT, but there's a bit in the TF2 fan video "How if feels to play Soldier" on the "Direct Hit" rocker launcher that describes it as "Scout-Be-Gone", as if it's an insecticide. Either it's deliberate, in which case cool - or it's a wonderful random coincidence :)

Please got to OP 10 with this playthrough. I have been watching since the console days and every mod playthrough you never seem to go all the way with. This one is extra interesting with the movement and dark magic, which seems to work better compared to other custom elements and I’d love to see more than a “showcase”. I’m curious to see what late game is like with all these new additions to the game.

Pretty sure the "Inspire" shield it's a PAYDAY 2 reference. Inspire is a skill (very OP tbh), and the red text is a phrase said by the characters when using the skill. There's a weapon in TF2 called "The Rocket Jumper", dunno if it's a reference to that. "Soldier of Fortune" is a game made by Raven Software based on a magazine. "Guevara" is a reference to Che Guevara. Very obvious I think. "Super Shotgun" is a DOOM reference, specifically DOOM Eternal 'cuz of the red text. Loving the references and nods ahaha.
