He's exactly what you would call a one hit wonder due to the fact that he's played the sax on many number one hits or Tina Tuner's in the past. So in a way he's kind of like the Eddie Van Halen of the Saxophone...lol! He just didn't do vocals that often. But as you can see, he did pretty good with that as well. It's a great song.

Man I'm so jealous of everyone that got to be in their late teens and their 20s in the 80s. I wasn't even born yet! The world now blows and back then it looked like one big sexy party haha. I'm just gonna say it. He must have been amazing in bed. That hip action and those hands!!! Come on now! Bring the 80s back so I can get to be a part of them!

Honestly, every society has a high point and after the 80's things have declined in many ways. If I could pick to be 20 now or then, I would easily pick back then.

80s was an even better time if you were a kid. Best toys, kids films and cartoons. 90s was a good time to be a teen.

@@jamesmason8436 absolutely. I was born in 82 and would give ANYTHING to go back to when I was between 8 and 13. I had so many sick toys and loved coming home from school and watching cartoons or getting up early Saturday morning to watch them. Toys were bad ass back then. Not even close to the junk nowadays. I remember having a ton of micro machines, the micro machine city to carry them all around in and take to your friends house. The claw. I will never forget on my 10th bday I got this remote control truck.it was a nikko Big Brutus truck and had the 4 wheel steering and a winch. Gosh so much fun back then.

@@Vgp-rp4iu I was born in '81 so only a year older. Star Wars, He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats, Visionaries, MASK, TMNT etc. Then you had Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Goonies and other classic kids films. Great times. Music was better as well.

@@jamesmason8436 nice. Yes absolutely I watched all those. Hey idk if you remember or not but did you ever get the ghostbusters slime gum in the tube? I loved that stuff. Yes music was way better as well

I cannot believe the amount of people who think this guy who did this cover of the song created it. He performed it as a cover but make no mistake this song was written, produced and sung by THE CALL one of the greatest under appreciated bands of the 1980's. This was first on their awesome album Reconciled which came out in 1986. I saw THE CALL while in college took a road trip to see their concert in Detroit at the Ritz in 1987. This cover may be flashy but Michael Been and The Call perform and sing this song to perfection. They were played mostly on college radio stations and got little main stream play.

You know this was written and performed by The Call and on their album Reconciled. This dude just performed it as a cover and in the movie the lost boys but was Reconciled- I still believe written by Michael Been and The Call was the song on the airwaves. Type the call still believe and watch the people who wrote and own the song play it. Michael's vocals re outstanding and the man wrote a lot of awesome songs before he passed.

I really think this song is about life and believing in God I do if you pay attention to the lyrics when he says I will wait until the end of time for you like everyone else minus the innuendos it’s about reuniting with Christ
