This has always been one of my favourite films of all time after seeing it when it was first released, I watched it with my twelve year old son recently and he loved it as much as I did, his exact words were "That's one of the best films I've ever seen in my life", I'm so happy I could share a piece of my childhood with him.

#1 example of why movie critics are absolutely worthless. I remember the exact NYC Daily News review back then badmouthing in such a way it made me want to watch it even more. It described the events of the movie as if they were a bad thing.

There's still great movies. I guess it's a bit subjective. This had amazing cool music, the 2 Coreys, a good amount of darkness and a little bit of cheese. Probably the perfect movie really. There's definitely some equals! Batman begins, Joker, The Highlander. I just love this movie though.

The algorithm on KZbin, social media and actual hardware (phones, tablets, computers etc in general has become so advanced that it knows what you’ve been thinking about from the 80”s and any other decade, when you think it it gets bundled up in binary ones and zeros behind the scenes and sent back in video format to you before you know it. It’s kinda like praying except it’s man made and for profit and not with the best intentions

As a young kid this is the only VHS I ever remember my dad actually watching with me. I sat with him in his big lazy boy and it’s one of my only good memories with him. He loved the music. Great movie. Like 20 years later got my aunt to watch it and she was glued to the TV and was like “how hd I never saw this!!” Great great movie with an even better soundtrack. If you were a little boy in like 91’ this was the coolest shit you’d ever seen, believe it or not
