I have been listening to Chris Stapleton for a couple years now, ever since I saw him and Justin Timberlake on the CMAs doing their Whiskey mixes. I said, this man is the most talent I have heard since Ronnie Van Zant and than some!!! He never misses a beat, hits every note, he is absolutely a flawless talent. And just when you think he may scratch at some point, well its impossible! The first time I saw him in concert, I couldn't believe how he sounded. It was exactly like the cd and more. Ever since, I have listened to him religiously. This is the only music that calms my 2 year old down on a long car ride, since she is born. I finally learned, that he had these other bands he was with, the Steeldrivers and Jompson Brothers. His passion and diverse talent with song writing and singing is incredible. I find myself in tears watching and listening to him sing he just touches my heart. He is like an angel. I don't know how people can call todays music, music. Even todays country is a joke. This man should have been discovered a long time ago.!!!!! Happy for you Chris you deserve nothing less. Your wife is a dream as well!!

This man is my favorite music since Lynyrd Skynyrd. I've all kinds of music but Skynyrd was the real deal, Ronnie was a great songwriter, loved the 3 guitar army(both incarnations) & Billy Powell had magical hands, loved that Boogie sound. There have been many other singers/bands I liked through the years but none ever struck a chords with me like Skynyrd did & still does to this day. Then along comes Chris Stapleton, never heard him with Steeldeivers though my husband a fan so surprised I didn't. Never heard of the Jompson Brothers either & while Steeldrivers got some attention, I don't think Jompson brothers did. Chris really paid his dues & when you listen to him & it's like how did it take this long for him to be the superstar that he is. A lit like Skynyrd in that way, so many record labels turned them down, sure they all kicked themselves later. First time I heard Tennessee Whiskey I was hooked on his voice, he has sch amazing control which listening to this, it has only gotten better over the years. Then saw him on CMA with Justin Timberlake & like everyone else that performance blew me away & then he was everywhere. No one deserves it more, he has remained so humble & true to himself. If you have not seen him live, it should be on your bucket list, I have seen him 3 times & he is just on another level from most performers IMO. It is well worth it & I will be out there again next year.

i was without shelter or care, on the run to who knows where. She was no angel; she had scars. We came in peace then came the war. She had to be beside me and I tried to tell her no. She came to guide me, then she had to go. Leaving me here now, with only moments, pain and joy. My grass is blue, my car dented primer grey... it serves only to remind me of the time we had so precious. She is gone to ground and I have become reckless. Woke up this morning, rising sun. Had no warning. Had to run and gun. I don't care if I get my wings spread today, we will be one... like a Pegasus, she flies to catch my Icarus as I melt into the sun. Sugar, dust and ashes to become... bang that drum for me bang that drum. -hmm 1st lines of something i've yet to write. Music is wicked fine, has me ignite. True blue, I thank you. ~RaVen~
