Why is it your all time favorite? Were you a teen in the 80's? To me this movie is a gem, it captures something that I value to this day. Perhaps it's about the excitement of being young.

Loved this movie. It is interesting though. Capitalism is not the problem. Wokism and socialism are what continues to destroy the actual problems of racism and the like, of which progressives claim to be fighting for, but are in reality hurting. In spite of progressive agendas, the US actually did improve in some areas such as racism and materialism. This movie was a metaphor as I see it cronyism. And that is in large part what continues to erode free societies. This movie benefited enormously from capitalism.
