Jon B is one of my favorites of all time. So underrated. This man paved the way for Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke. Don't get me wrong, I love JT (ever since the days of *NSYNC) and Robin Thicke, but Jon B is and will always be my favorite white male R&B singer (second is Justin LOL).

Crystal Boswell Justin Timberlake is not a bad singer he is okay but a great artist for sure. JC Chazez his former bandmate was a far superior singer than JT also Brian Littrell & Aj Mclean from the Backstreet boys were definitely superior singers compared to Timberlake also.

Which is why Justin was pissed because he felt the album deserved R&B cred and not pop, which I agree and disagree with. What I am saying is FACT. My musical scope goes beyond 1998 and reaches as far back as the Baroque period in Europe to the intricate rhythms of African drumming. Jon B. was REAL R&B. His music, his essence, his soul and his dedication to the culture is beyond the dabbling that JT does. That is a fact, not an opinion which I can back up with the expertise of others.

I never saidthat NSYNC did not have R&B influence, JC Chasez IMO had the purest R&B voice out of the group. But R&B influenced is not the same as R&B. What they did was manufactured POP with a few &B swaggerjacking methods there. NSYNC's only songs that played on urban radio were Gone and Girlfriend, and that was as close at it ever got to being considered R&B. Timbaland GAVE Justin his style. Justified was much more of an R&B album than anything NSYNC ever did.
