Listening to your singsongy rap and pithy metaphors brings a smile to my face. Listening to you connect the real life sounds of trains, the Industrial Revolution and the digital revolution and how they found their way into the music of each era is a wonderfully fresh and apt observation.

That last part was what got my blues to another level. Paraphrasing my teacher, but blues was an old peoples sound and old people like retelling the same stories over and over. So the blues sound retells those same notes over and over, just with a little twist every time.

Yikes! I asked my college piano teacher for this almost 40 years ago. He said he could not, and that was that. He was great at what he was great at (dead guy music). Today, I got it in 8 minutes!!!! Singing gumbo! I'm a teacher, and I've always said only a true master of the content can teach at high levels! This made my day, thank you!
