@julielong8714Ай бұрын
Came to the comments to say just this. I always find it fascinating to watch him improvise. When he’s playing something he knows or wrote, his gaze is “present”, but when he improvises, it’s almost as if he’s looking into space and “seeing” the notes. Or, maybe he’s tuning out his vision altogether, like a blind musician, and seeing the music with his mind’s eye.😎

That Chopin blues was phenomenon. Chopin's version is like a drape that falls lightly to Earth, encroach us in the twilight's somber. While Jon's interpretation is like the start of an evening walk at sunset. There, the moment, a single fraction of a second when time stood still, the rustle of the soundless curtain pulls, and day turns into night. The lights are then turned on and the streets start bustling again, That is how Jon's version sounds for me. An urban's Nocturne.

Hi, plase, can you explain what it means ?

@@PabloArevalo-y2f basically say for instance if you took two keys - let’s say C natural and C Sharp - the recording of the song is somewhere in between those two keys, so any of the keys on the piano tuned normally would be falling either flat or sharp to the recording in this case.
