Honestly, I don't think the simplicity or complexity of a song is what makes it good or "awesome" or otherwise. I think what makes it "awesome" is the message and the way that the music flows, not any display of particular talent, just the way that the music is able to touch the artist and secondly his/her audience

Funny story: I went to a twentyonepilots concert in Bozeman, MT. I remember I couldn't quite see who opening for them. After the performance, I thought to myself, "Hey, I really enjoyed that dude in the white shirt that opened for them. He made great music to get us into the mood!" but then forgot about it. Fast forward to April, I watch a KZbin video of the game _Rust_ and I hear this beautiful song in the background. I search far and wide for it, wondering who made it. I then come across a this Tonight Show video. I think to myself "Damn! He seems so... Familiar. Where have I heard him before?" and then I see the note on his sampler, "KEEP FIGHTING, DREW" and then I had a flashback to the TOP concert -- He said Keep Fighting Drew there. I saw Jon Bellion live in concert and I didn't even know who he was. I wish I could just warp back in time so that I can enjoy the concert even better now I know who Jon is!

One of these days he's gonna perform the song like it was recorded in the studio and everyone is gonna be pissed about it

I love how he never plays it the same way twice.

Joradn Knop I think they mean that he never performs it the same way twice, and if an audience were to get the original, they’d be upset that it wasn’t unique.

Dam, I remember loving Bellion back when I was in middle school. Finally given the chance to go to his concert last year and was completely blown away. He seriously sounds AMAZING live. If not better.

i always find myself coming back to this performance, even though it's for a tv show he still finds his way to make things interesting without confusing the audience, because we know sometimes he likes to change things up WAY too much. he's literally a genius
