Welcome to another video, another topic. In this one, im working on the #topgunjonboat and decided to take a quick breather to give you the run down on how i do my wood framing in my #jonboattobassboat build. There's a big misconception on wood framing in jon boats being heavy, I show how i do it in western red cedar materials which is actually lighter than 1/8 inch aluminum. I'll show all the materials needed,and techniques I use to create a strong, stable, long lasting, professional result framing package you can replicate in your very own jon boat build.

I have watched a lot of your videos now and I got a small 14/32 flat bottom that I’m just putting a little money into to fish out of while my bass boat is in the shop. I might have 50 dollars into the accessories but I have a front deck, flooring, and lights. But I’m taking off my bilge pump and trolling motor off my bass boat and putting on it too. It has a small 6hp Evinrude already on it.

Everything you say that I think of the scene in Temple if Doom where Indiana jumps out the building into the car that his Asian sidekick is driving while the lady friend is going crazy and the kid yells at her saying "you call him Dr Jones!" . Hey Anthony- How are you “tying” your wood frame to the sides/transom/etc of the boat? Do you use aluminum, or is it “free-floating” in the areas it’s built (not tied to sides of boat just measured snug so it doesn’t move? I hope this isn’t too confusing and thank you in advance!

When you use the table saw, do you use a push stick, your fingers get really close to the blade?

I try to hit a rib or use a bench, I do not go through boat bottom
