Super..plan to do that to mine. You and I have an orginial "APPLEBY" 10 footers. Made with high grade Reynolds Alumium back as early 1956. Company bought out was LOWES boat manuf. I find it very tispy though. This old fishin lady now has to get it down to lake place from a pond of 30 yrs it sat on...lol. Great job. Thanks for share.

Yea man this is pretty cool, I've been thinking about trying to do this because I've grabbed an old boat just like that out of my grandpa's old junk pile and I'm thinking about wanting to do that, also look like you did a nice job.

Thanks! We say you go for it. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to do a good job. We honestly had a great time doing it and it feels good to turn something that would be junk into something you can use.

Good stuff cheap...or at least the carpet was! 😜 Just an idea...you should hinge at least one platform (or part of it) for storage. You have a ton of unused space under there 👍

Not really sure what the weight limit is. It’s definitely not big enough for 3 people. We got on it comfortably, but any more than that would not be good.
