Well done sir. How did you secure the trolling motor mount to the boat?

The mount itself is not attached to the boat. It’s just attached to the 4/6 platform that I made wich is secured to the casting deck. I just have it attached with 3 inch outdoor screws and it holds well enough for me.

Bear Creek Outdoors so you didn’t screw the front part of the platform to the front aluminum bench? I made a similar casting deck running level from the very front small bench to the middle bench. I’m having a tough time trying to figure out how to secure a mount/platform to the front bench since I can’t get under it to put washers or nuts under the aluminum.

Leonardo Sebastian I did not. I built this whole casting deck with out drilling any holes in the boat or permanently attaching it. The whole frame and casting deck just sets between the two benches. And I’ve never had any concern of it flying out or anything. I also like to do it like this cause I can remove the whole deck if I need to

This one is a 1542 so it’s 15 feet long and 42 inches wide at the bottom
