Because they always asked him stupid questions back in the 80's about his looks and hair and he was fed up with it, I can understand that part of it.

@@marisolvaldez7173 He should be grateful he was born with those looks. The first two albums were not huge hits. His looks kept women buying concert tickets and dragging their boyfriends along until they got Slippery out. Otherwise, he would have gotten dropped from the label and we'd have never had Slippery or anything after. But once he got big I guess it was a double edge sword and as much of a curse as a blessing.
