dont hire robots or back lines that use them its that easy. ive done live rock music for 25 years, if im doing a show that needs a back line i get to pick what im using not to mention an ai robot is way more money than real musicians at this point. ill continue to make music because i love it, the money i make doing it is just icing on the cake

If anything Ai music has shown us just how soulless most music really is. It can be easily replicated by a machine. But ask an Ai to make a good Metal or Classical song, and it falls short dramatically. It's almost as if the entertainment industry has been secretly using this technology for decades to churn out mediocre content like superhero movie scripts and pop music albums. And it's now being released to the public, assuming because private industry now has something much better to use.................

Unfortunately, the bull is out of the gate, almost every human being is threatened. I am not sure any cognitive group can claim exception from its impact. Best approach is brace yourself and hope AI does not become conscious and mobile.

I never heard A.I. create anything that sounds better than a sub-par cover band. Maybe one day it will assemble something impressive but we'll see I guess.

while it may sound the same, AI will never replace the same passion, and heart and soul put into music

I'm not on the "side" of A.I. but I understand technology dictates markets. these people would not complain about A.I. like this unless they dad decided to favor jacobs computer over esaus guitar. and no amount of complaining changes the fact that you are associating with them and not vice versa. you want their money whether or not they are stealing from anyone. you want to suppress innovation and reform for selfish reasons. that's what these "artists" are trying and that never works. just saying art comes out of finance security. if you use yours to play guitar what if no one ever sees you play or chooses you over others who do. it makes no difference. same with A.I. no one prefers them they are being authorized to print money for "reasons" they are just as good as you whatever you whittle and you can't force people to prefer you over that or whatever. be for your music not against your detractors first rule of rocking out.

Every band was influenced by previous bands. AI being trained on the same music is no different. REM's music already sounded lifeless, they didn't need robot imitators to make it that way.

If REM sounds lifeless, why have they been considered icons for 4 decades straight? Maybe you're just living your life wrong.

What A.I. can do, is what it can do. this is not up to A.I. developers. it is up to people hiring generic development scales. the theaters swore. THE VCR IS UNFAIR TO OUR PRIVATE FUND RAISING PLATFORM... they uhh.. lost. you will all lose this fight. this fight will not respect your Tenures. the truth is Royalty pools can belong to A.I. coders instead of actors and guitarists how about that. "musicians" don't exist go get jobs flippping hamburgers if you can't wrake without royalties. you are supposed to play live and it will only support the rock and roll lifestyle you establishment patrons will support because that's real and not every show sells tickets some are just house venues that pay by the hour. some let the band get tips. does this cut out all the "studio" people? no all people are all kinds of ways. there will always be "something like that" but how profitable it is comes and goes and has central authorities driving it. so if Bon jovie never plays again or if the bon jovie of tomorrow only gets payed live and royalties don't exist anymore and any live rocker can play your songs for money without sharing provided they don't distribute recordings etc.. I don't care. even recordings (of yours) will eventually replatform remix because the work is already done. court resources may no longer facilitate protecting you. you money you fellings you party with poor flannels you put up.

Technology has been replacing musicians for years with drum machines and synthesizers eliminating the need for drummers, bassists and horn players and now they’re coming after the vocalists jobs well boo hoo hoo because the people that create these things don’t care about your livelihood or your music career because they’re hoping to cash in on the next big thing and the people who stream and download the latest catchy little diddy won’t make the connection they are putting people out of business it’s like why pay a live band when a karaoke guy is much cheaper and not as loud sorry guys it’s coming weather you like it or not and the only thing you can do is invest in AI now before it becomes the next big thing oh well you had a good run r.i.p. it’s over
