I've been a Bon Jovi fan since 1984 or 1985. I didn't know he married his high school sweetheart. With his looks and being the frontman of an incredible rock band, he had his pick of so many women. The fact that he married Dorothea and remains with her is a very rare thing. God Bless them and all they do for the poor. That is so much more than being who he is on stage.

He and Dorothea broke up after a 4 years relationship bcuz he was on tour and also i think the long distance thing and she didn't wait for him too too think highly if it will ever will come better again so she moved on. Which i think he did had affairs in the period he was single but he realized he missed his ex so much and loved her so after the long tour he came back and went to her home and they talked and he said he deciced to marry her and she agreed

Bon Jovi is the soundtrack for me growing up in Jersey in the 80's. Staying happily married for any amount of years is always a challenge. I've been a Bon Jovi fan for decades! But when I see positive uplifting stories like this, it just makes me admire him and his family as kind human beings, not celebrities. He and his wife are "walking the walk", using their super powers for good! It's inspiring that they aren't topping, they just keep doing more and they are affecting real change in their own "backyard". Sure, it's great when celebrities give to causes in other countries, but there are SO MANY communities in need right here in this country. It's so sad to think of children going to school hungry or our seniors that live below the poverty line and add in the pandemic and it impacts things even more these days. We're the United States of America, one of the most prosperous nations in the world, we should always strive to do better, be better. Like Jon said, it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what side of the aisle you're on, everyone should have access to the basic needs to function in day to day life: food, water, shelter, clothing. What a wonderful couple, not too judge people by there situation. My son and I were homeless for 3yrs living in our car, no help from family, it’s nice to know people in need get help from the kindness of strangers, not because JBJ is famous but he is a person that has a wonderful soul.

I am 58 years old and have been a Bon Jovi fan forever !! But seeing this, I have more respect and admiration for him than any song he ever did. He and his wife are guardian angels to so many people. You 2 are very humble but deserve a STANDING OVATION for feeding the hungry and building homes for those who were down, broke and homeless as well as helping our veterans. Jon..I love what you say about your profession as a singer, songwriter and musician.. "That's what I do". Dorothea, you hit the bonus round when you married Jon, Jon, you hit the bonus round when you tied the knot with Dorothea. I'm sure your lives were hard with Jon on the road living out of a suitcase. Dorothea living without Jon as he toured and held up her job as a wife and mother. That is NOT so easy either. You've said many times you're not the only couple together all these years but Jon, Dorothea, 4 kids and BonJovi, you all are So Admired for your kindness, love and dedication. I had the honor of hanging out with Bon Jovi when he was younger and she wasn't there but he talked about her and this was early in his career and I can say I truly believe he is a good hearted man and she is very good for him. I love working in my community as well and I wish them such good luck.
