I have SO much respect for them and I love how they don't just send a check in, and go about their lives...they actually donate their time by physically stacking/ lifting heavy boxes, unpacking, moving, shipping,etc...and donate their hearts by following up, making calls to make it happen and staying on top of everything to make sure it gets done. I've been a Bon Jovi fan since 1984 or 1985. I didn't know he married his high school sweetheart. With his looks and being the frontman of an incredible rock band, he had his pick of so many women. The fact that he married Dorothea and remains with her is a very rare thing. God Bless them and all they do for the poor. That is so much more than being who he is on stage.

He and Dorothea broke up after a 4 years relationship bcuz he was on tour and also i think the long distance thing and she didn't wait for him too too think highly if it will ever will come better again so she moved on. Which i think he did had affairs in the period he was single but he realized he missed his ex so much and loved her so after the long tour he came back and went to her home and they talked and he said he deciced to marry her and she agreed

First he went on about a topic of , When someone achieves a certain amount of financial success, then when they have bought everything they need and are taken care of then they have taken care of their freinds and family , What do you do after that , What do you do after there is no use for money anymore he said..... You help humanity and your fellow man he then said this... "If ever there is someone in need , Who is Genuinely in need" (he then cautiously pauses to make sure he chooses his words correctly and continues to say ) "If i can use my money, my popularity , my influence or celebrity to help............. I remember when I was in high school Jon announced his marriage to Dorthea. So many girls in school we're pissed. Calling her ugly. I just told them they were jealous because she had him and they didn't. It cracked me up these girls actually thought they had a chance with him. John is a good guy. His grandmother Martha lived 3 blocks away from me in Erie,Pa. My family were long time friends of Martha. John looked so much like his uncle Michael that when I went to the house to give Martha some garden tomatoes, I walked thru the living room and said hello Mike. Told Martha, your son Mike is watching football. She replied that it was her grandson John B.J. . Oh, OK. John was drinking beer & burping....his team must have been ahead !! But John is a really nice guy so i've heard. I personally don't know him, but the food kitchen/restaurant he put up in New Jersey was a nice gesture.

Bon Jovi is the soundtrack for me growing up in Jersey in the 80's. Staying happily married for any amount of years is always a challenge. To see Jon and Dorothea still happily married and best friends that work together to give back to their community and to help people in need is really what life's all about, especially these days. Dorothea, would you consider writing a book about your perspective on being married to Jon and your experiences as a wife and mother from the beginning of his career? I've been to the first JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank, NJ twice and loved the food and and pay it forward idea. Love the idea and met some wonderful people that they've really helped feed and give a chance to learn another skill and that their are definitely people out there that care and very willing to "pay it forward". It's inspiring that they aren't topping, they just keep doing more and they are affecting real change in their own "backyard". Sure, it's great when celebrities give to causes in other countries, but there are SO MANY communities in need right here in this country. It's so sad to think of children going to school hungry or our seniors that live below the poverty line and add in the pandemic and it impacts things even more these days. We're the United States of America, one of the most prosperous nations in the world, we should always strive to do better, be better. Like Jon said, it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, what side of the aisle you're on, everyone should have access to the basic needs to function in day to day life: food, water, shelter, clothing. A little human kindness goes a long way. I wish there was a way to do what he and his wife have done in their community, in more communities across the country.

It was probably your Guardian Angels saying "pay attention to what Jon Bon Jovi is doing", perhaps to inspire you and show you there are good people doing good deeds in this world. :) Anytime you experience a synchronicity like hearing a specific song and then some other connection to that singer/band or song, it is probably your Angel helpers pointing out something to you. I recently had a similar experience with the band Europe. Their songs were showing up on my YT feed, and because they are one of my fave 80s bands, I looked up their band YT channel and saw the virtual videos they were doing last year playing from their home studio for fans, to lift their fans spirits last year. I thought wow, that is really cool and nice to see musicians doing that.

Actually the Kardashian provide jobs for thousands and donate millions, quietly, as well as many volunteer hours every year so that's a pretty ignorant comment. Whne someone talks like that, it shows they just act nasty grasping at any social media or tabloid crap rather than being of substance and only speaking from educated knowledge, especially when of others. Do you do the same to those in your life and community, just bashing because you don't like them, passing on any untruths you hear? Be a better human. How much do you donate and volunteer? If not as much as those you bash, do better or sit down.
