I want to go to that house and play the organ. But I can never play it as great as Jon Brion.

Dan Mehta If you go to a local ATOS chapter meeting (for example, LATOS, the Los Angeles Theatre Organ Society), you too can participate in "open console" which is basically letting everyone have a chance at trying out the theatre organ. For a list of meetings, find your local chapter in your area on the ATOS (American Theatre Organ Society) website, and go to their local chapter website and check out the calendar of events! Typically, actual concerts will not have an open console, but chapter meetings / get togethers / potlucks will. Even the smaller groups have these. For example, the Santa Barbara Theatre Organ Society / SBTOS have an open console once a month on the Robert-Morton organ at the Arlington Theatre, and the Orange County Theatre Organ Society / OCTOS have one twice a year (usually Summer and Winter) at Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton.

@redmonkey4740 I don't recognize it from the movie, I think its just a shot of him to establish the short clip, but I could be wrong.

I'm after some advice if anyone out there can help please? I really like the score/s John Brion has made for Punch Drunk Love and in particular how he makes the music sound like it was recorded in mono or something in the 1950's! Now, I'm very new to digital music making but am trying to make a score for a short film. Is there anyone who's familiar in the area, know what effects I'd use, or how I'd go about making my score have that great, 1950's, mono recorded sound? Thanks :-)
