Jon beat a guy who hadn’t fought in 4 years and is 42. Let that sink in. Tom is not Stipe, Tom would dust Stipe in less than a minute. If Jon beats Tom, the only other competitive fight people would want to see is vs Ngannou that’s it.

@@Joshtherealdeal There’s a significant difference between 37 and 42 years. DC was 38 when he fought Jones the second time, was DC an old man then? Also, you conveniently forgot the bit about Stipe, prior to this fight, fighting 4 years ago where he was brutally knocked out. Quite a few points there to incorporate in the logic buddy. Aspinal is the interim champ, so if Jones wants to remain champ, he has to fight Aspinal, whether he offers Jones anything or not. Both Jones and Aspinal won their belts the same way, neither beat the lineal champ. As far as I’m concerned, their belts are equivalent.
