Thiago santos is an underrated legend. He’s a human highlight machine who moved up to light heavyweight and knocked out jan. He had 12 finishes out of 14 wins before fighting jones. Then his knees got fucked up and he couldn’t fight as fiercely, and you can see it in some of his recent fights. He just doesn’t have the same explosiveness and ability to land bombs on opponents. Such a humble and respectful guy as well. I wish him the best in PFL.

The only reason Jones is able to effectively implement it is 1 his timing (it's a very slow attack that's easily avoided and countered) 2 jones has the perfect fighting building ( extremely long legs short torso comparatively and long arms). Even in muay thai, kicks that target the joints are illegal. It's not like an arm bar or knee bar where it is an ever increasing force, giving you time to tap. It is a quick powerful force that doesn't allow for the ability to save yourself. That's why, when you teep to the legs it's a stab to the thigh.
