UFC Fighters thoughts on the much awaited debut of Jon Jones at Heavyweight division. Jon Jones is regarded as one of the greatest fighter of all time. Jon "Bones" Jones is being linked to fight Stipe Miocic if the Francis Ngannou fight does not happen right away.
Jon Jones hasn’t gotten an official offer to compete in the UFC’s heavyweight division just yet, but he believes he’ll be physically ready as early as this summer.

I have my issues with N'gannou. But I do appreciate that he still props stipe up as a person/fighter despite beating him. So many guys get in the habit of basically just calling other fighters shit. Whether they're about to fight them, or already beat them. Why devalue your own win like that when you can just acknowledge the guy is really tough?
@yinheiwa
@yinheiwa 2 жыл бұрын
it's probably because stipe beat him and so trading a win and a loss with the man they now both know each other so well. Stipe beating him pushed him to be a champion level fighter and he had to literally change the way he fought and so Ngannou will always have a level of humbleness when mentioning Stipe's name. It'll be hard for Francis to talk trash about a fighter who handedly dominated him regardless of the fact that he went on to KO the shit outta Stipe. But I get what you mean.

@@sadabcore1 I don't believe him to be all that genuine. Sure many UFC fighters deserve more money. But the second he started claiming he needs to borrow money just to do a fight camp he lost me. Because he's either lying for sympathy, or he spends like an idiot and still dosen't deserve sympathy because thats a you problem, not a pay problem. I can't get behind disengenuous tactics like that when he's not even close to struggling the most in the UFC with what he gets paid. There are guys making 12k and 12k to win, they make their camps happen. But Francis at 600k to show can't make a camp happen without borrowing money? That's pure bullshit and has nothing to do with whether he should be paid more or not. Hence why he dosen't get my support. Hopefully for his sake he gets what he's looking for out of his next deal. But i'm certainly not going to be making any noise for him in an attempt to help anymore as floating lines like that makes him no better than who he calls foul against.

Jon Jones, love him or hate him, he is the most polarizing fighter ever. Way more than Conor IMO. He is probably the most talented fighter to ever grace the octagon. He might have been on steroids but those still wouldn't help you fight the way that Jon Jones does, it his technique and IQ that keeps him winning. @dustingaethje1332
@dustingaethje1332 2 жыл бұрын
Another thing to consider about his use of steroids is that, at the time when he started out and even when he was champ, there was no ban of steroids initially. He's been fighting before USADA and even before the whole TRT situation. Meaning, at the time, he wasn't doing anything that was considered illegal and was fighting definately roided up challengers. That still doesn't excuse his drug fails and the steroids def helped him because at the end of the day, why take them if they do nothing? They enhanced his recovery and allowed him to train more often and for longer than he could without them, but this comment is true too. Overall there's a lot to consider here imo.

Why does no one ever talk about the fact that Anderson also popped for the same thing as Jon which wasn't PEDs, it was a drug that flushes the PEDs out of your system which is why people assume he used PEDs. Anderson is always on the conversation even though they literally popped for the same thing and GSP literally abandoned the UFC after USADA came to the picture. All of them used PEDs bruh, and out of all of them Jon Jones was at the top of the food chain, he eat all types of monsters that also used PEDs and he didn't just beat them he ram through a whole division that was stacked with LEGENDS. Shogan Rua, Vitor, Chael, Rampage, Rashad, the fucking current champion Texeira LOL and DC, Gustafsson and the list goes on and on. So if he barely beat Reyes he’s going to win against Ngannou?! I don’t think so. The last five years Jones has done more talking than fighting. And he sure hasn’t looked like he did earlier in his career. His fight IQ may be the best in the game. His heart his desire to win is also incredible so he always has a chance. But I think the flaws we’ve seen in his last few fights doom him in his move to heavyweight.

Contrary to somewhat "common belief" I don't think he'd be the fighter he Is without his demons, but If he didn't he'd probably still be where he Is right now, a legend, a winner, and the greatest to ever do It.
