Speaking of weird stories I don't know how true it is but I got told there were some Blackburn fans on holiday in Majorca summer 95, they got talking to someone in a bar who after finding out they were Blackburn fans invited them to play a match at the Lluís Sitjar Stadium. Thinking it was a great offer they turned up at the time they had been told and realised the guy they had spoken to had misunderstood them, he didn't think they were fans, he thought they were the Blackburn Rovers team fresh off their Premier League win. He had quickly setup a friendly against Real Mallorca, so a group of hungover Rovers fans got steamrolled by Real Mallorca's first team in front of the few thousand fans who had turned up on short notice to see their club play the 'English Champions'.
