Since the Cass Report, Graham Linehan has been vindicated. Why will no one accept this? Why are you cowards? Is it through embarrassment through being wrong from the word go? Solidarity with Graham.

Graham Linehan's "behaviour" consists of not thinking gender non-conforming children should be drugged, and believing women sometimes need single sex spaces, wards, prisons, sports. It's hardly radical. He's disappointed in his supposedly ethical celebrity friends for not standing up for what was right, even though it was unfashionable. He's right.
@martybyrnemusic3 ай бұрын
Interesting that he has such "hardly radical" views, yet needs to obsessively foam at the mouth, screaming at people all day and night, every day of his life on Twitter, aligning with literal Nazis, racists and homophobes to try and stay relevant, being disowned by his family and pretty much everyone who has ever worked with him in the process.
@davidparry53102 ай бұрын
By 'not thinking gender non-conforming children should be drugged', you mean 'believing that trans youth with physical gender dysphoria should have their psychological well-being further endangered by being forced to undergo natural puberty'. That's not merely not right; it's abominable and wicked!

Ronson's a gossip. States things in extremes. Graham has always been speaking in favour of the rights of women, girls, gay people, and frankly everyone, to have access to same sex spaces, to not be called transphobic for believing sex matters, for lesbians to be allowed to have female only dating apps. All of which is in line with UK law, and has been miserably misrepresented by Stonewall and other interest groups due to mission creep. And that's before you even get to the scandal around surgeries, and hormone blockers. Osteoporosis, diverticulitis, fistulas. The people who were ill-served by iatrogenic harm matter too. Homosexuals matter. Women matter. Pretending they don't, shutting them up is a problem. Graham Linehan has a spine, and good for him.

I remember Linehan sending his followers after me simply because I corrected him. I loved Linehan's work and had zero history with him, apart from one brief chat online about a boardgame we both liked. The second time I messaged him was a comment on one of his (somewhat excessive) anti-gun tweets. I just said I thought his stats looked quite far out on the issue. He blocked me, forwarded my message to his 485,000 followers with the message BLOCKED FOR STUPIDITY on it and, as a result, a few of his fans messaged me with things like "it's YOU who should be shot". It was a strange feeling. The creator of Father Ted was a bit of a hero to me. Then he just went for me. So yes, my brief experience of him seems entirely consistent with what Ronson says.

He certainly is a mercurial character, and I think he'd be the first one to admit to this. Have you managed to ask him why he did this? I'd like to think he'd apologise, much in the way he has to a few people that have been subjected to his venomous side. I know he's been very apologetic with Count Dankula. Regardless, it definitely sucks that he did that to you and I hope he does make amends.
@mikefoster60182 ай бұрын
@@ytsm He blocked me immediately, at the same time as shaming me to his 485,000 Twitter followers. So no apology. I just think it's classic 'victim but actually a mob' mentality. I should say I've not got any strong opinion against his views on trans or guns. I just think he got a gun-related stat very wrong for the sake of making his point.

Can't stand Ronson's "who me?" schtick. There is nothing wrong, in my view, with men dressing up in frocks and such if that's what they need to do, but there is a lot wrong with men and trans pressure groups lobbying to be allowed into women-only spaces, sports and particularly lobbying for puberty blockers for children.
