Really appriciate your effort for this built was thinking about that plasting intake cover u can also make the custom one like the e30 s85 swaping videos so that there will be alot of clearence between the bonnet and intake covers

The custom intake cover is an option but I really want to keep it with the oem covers it's worth the extra work so it looks OEM when I open the bonnet

Are you planing to run the e39 Cluster to keep things as stock as possible?

I'd like to try too, just the S85 runs of electronic oil level and without the cluster this can't be checked. If I can find a way around this problem and the problem of getting the oil temp, water temp and tacho to work then it would be great.
