Very inspiring - did you use the e90/e92 6 speed ? I assume direct bolt on to s85 - do you know if DCT would be as well? Do you have IG?

Great vid. Mines going in for a new driveshaft shortly,so interesting to see whats involved. Sadly you cant get CV boot replacement kits anymore so entire new driveshaft it it! £££! Look forward the build up on yours

After rebuilding the engine, adding a standalone ecu and the supercharger kit probably £8-£10K this was back in 2017 when I completed the build so could be more now. I completed the rebuild myself so it would be even more if outsourced. Hope this helps

thanks, It depends on the level integration you want as a minimum you could get away with just the stock ecu and fuel pump assembly to keep the ecu happy

Can you do a list what is needed to mount that thing on a m62b44 engine? I want that supercharger, but still unclear to me what is needed since it seems not to be a supercharger as i know it from todays cars and im planing ahead a project with an e46. @@Phoenix_1991 huh? The E63 6 series has a number of engines man. The 630i, the 645ci, 650i and the diesels. And then the M635i is the E63 with the S50B44 with the 4.4L straight 6 dual vanos.

They really missed a trick not sticking the S85B50 into the E63 body though. I reckon it would be perfect for it as long as it had the SMG gearbox. Amazing daily & weekend car that would be.
