Jesse, we have the same hair type, my hair is super dry and when I grew it out for the first time it didn’t rly have a curl pattern so now I have a buzz cut since I didn’t like it, since I started watching your channel I’ve discovered there’s so much I can do with my hair and im almost sad that I cut it. i have straight , thick, frizzy hair, and this gives me a wavy/ curly wetlook, its the best my hair has ever looked.. i used mousse, hair oil, with some leave in conditioner and it turns out the same.. the hairdryer is genius, i was air drying my hair for 5 hours at a time to get the wetlook, but this is ready to go in 10 mins. thanks playa

Kit harrington (Jon snow actor) has stated that he didnt use shampoo in game of thrones. I doubt he used it after the show to. Ive tried only using conditioner like once every 2 weeks and never shampoo. My hair has gone from fizzy, brittle and dry hair to hydrated and nice curls, like Kit Harringtons. And ive asked my hair stylist and he though felt and looked better and not greesy at all. I think the thing many people call grease isn’t grease, its hydrated hair. It will feel different when not using shampoo but it should.

@@lukas7bastos he didnt use anything at all in his hair. Clean your hair with a silicone free shampoo and just wait. In a couple of weeks youll need no shampoo ever again. I dont use conditioner either. Ive relized that conditioner is just plastic in a bottle (silicones) which makes a coating that oils cant penetrate. If you use conditioner your hair will become greesy but if you wait you hair can absorb oils with ease

Great video. I have trouble styling my hair backwards and it always tries to middle part along my head to my crown. I’m trying to go for a Jay Alvarrez hairstyle and my hair is really poofy and curly on the sides but the top is kinda hard to get down. I think it needs to be longer but I’m getting a little annoyed with how frustrating it is to deal with. I haven’t been using products besides salt water so maybe I will try something like this because I think and gel/paste doesn’t make the look I’m going for but I could be wrong.

Depends on the look you’re going for! If your hair is straight, you might like a water-based pomade that has a high shine; pomade works easier on long straight hair, at least more-so than gel (which is easier on curly hair that’s long and thick). You can use the same technique here, but with a pomade instead. Try to experiment with different products!
