As a German I want to say: 1. I like this show. They make fun of both parties. Often I have the feeling that one news network either supports D or R (What journalists should never do). 2. I hope that the US goes back to the times when McCain defended Obama: "He is a decent family man, citizen, that I just happen to have disagreements on fundamental issues and that's what that campaign is all about.". 3. After D or R will have won the upcoming election, I hope the US stays stable. No one in the world needs an unstable US society and government. I really hope (also in Europe and Germany) that most people calm down a bit. There have been, there are and will be again difficult times. Let's deal with it in a professional, calm and respectful way. Democracy is about having different opinions and discussions. Not about personal attacks and just shouting at each other. Cheerio and may the better candidate win (and not who is the loudest).

I agree with you completely. We need these comedy shows to help lighten the mood here, which is very heavy. Also, many of these shows show media clips we might not see on the regular networks. There are many of us here who are reasonable, educated people. We just have to all rise up and vote for sanity. I truly feel we will. Until then, we need these shows because laughter is the best medicine for anxiety and depression. Peace to you and the world.

Guys, it got even WORSE for poor Sara Huckabee Sanders at the Correspondents dinner. Someone DITCHED her in the free raspberry crepes line and she had to STAND THERE AND WATCH while that person got their crepe BEFORE her, and everyone was supposed to receive TWO coupons for free glasses of champagne at the bar, and Sarah only got ONE coupon for free bubbly. The absolute last straw was when Sarah ordered on her ticket the pistachio crusted pan-seared organic salmon with red skin potatoes and toasted crudete’ but got pan-seared tournados of beef (medium rare) with garlic infused pepper dusted sautéed spring vegetables and freshly stripped fried leeks.
