Burt Reynolds was not only one of our favorite and most truly talented actors, he was a humanitarian as well. Not many people know that about him. John Voigt is a good American, a true Patriot, and a good friend. God Bless them...........................................

Thank you for having him in to speak to us about his good friend. Mr.Voigt should really run for office. I've always loved Burt Reynolds. A lot of '70s movies with Jon Voight have been playing on TMC recently, and people either have forgotten, or have no idea how great of an actor he is/was. Seriously, "Deliverance', 'The All American Boy', 'Conrack', 'Coming Home', and certainly 'Midnight Cowboy' back in the late '60s, just great performances for him throughout. Even though his bit on Seinfeld was great, I wonder if people that knew little about him, took him a little less seriously - being kind of jokingly compared to Liam Neeson. This guy is so underrated and underappreciated historically.

Also, I'm not surprised J.Voit was once a Liberal, I had a feeling early in his life especially during the 1960,s, but what did surprise me was that he became a Republican. 🙏👍

I was a liberal actor from California when I was young as well. As I have matured in my life and distanced myself from those things, I have become more and more conservative. As I look at the state of affairs in our Nation and the psychological distress our population is in , there is little doubt as to the origins of said distress.
