Yes I'm so glad you vidded them! I honestly don't really know how I feel about the pregnancy storyline. It just feels like an unnecessary challenge for Amy, and Amy and Jonah. Idk. I read an interview with the showrunner, and it provided a bit of clarity, but I still wasn't super convinced it was the best storytelling. Regardless, I love your videos of them and I'm so glad you made another one with the last few episodes!

I feel the exact same way, I was so so into Jonah/Amy's storyline until the end of season 3. I'm hoping things turn around but yeah completely agree with you!! Thanks for making something so fun and sweet for them, it helped me get my mind off of all that haha. Loved how you showed how much Jonah supports Amy and Amy gets to be more free with Jonah. Great job!!

The editing is absofuckinglutely fantastic, simply amazing, and the song fits them perfectly! I loved reading your feels on the description. I just had a weekend of watching the whole show (late but I'm 10000000% in), and I'm glad that all your concerns about the pregnancy were handled quite nicely in season 4, at least in the opinion of someone who didn't have to go through years of anticipation and then an unexpected pregnancy and hiatus and all that. realchemistry aw that means so much thank you!! So glad you found the show! I really do love it and I still love these two so much, however I have to somewhat disagree with you on how they were handled in season 4. I gotta be honest the pregnancy was still so dumb, especially since we have yet to see the baby ever again so like what was the point.. and all we got in the birthing episode was a measly look between the two of them I was so let down by that. All of season 4 they showed barely any affection and we heard no talks of their feelings for each other, except for the one yelling of “I love you” haha. I dunno just personally as someone who has shipped them so hard since season two and loved the progression of their story, it just felt to me like now that they’re actually in a relationship the writers had absolutely no idea how to write them like that. I have seen so many other shows do workplace romance so well and I don’t mean to compare but I really find the writers wasted so much of their potential in season 4. I truly hope season 5 makes up for it but ya unfortunately for me this past season made me lose some interest in them as a couple because of the mishandling of their story. It’s such a shame cause they were my top otp ugh. Of course that’s just my opinion, I still love the show I just wish they were better at writing and portraying relationships. I’m glad you enjoyed it though haha! Sorry this is so long I have a lot of feelings :P

Awww, sorry to read that! I agree that the pregnancy storyline could've been avoided, specially seeing as it didn't amount to much at all, and it's not like America had to miss episodes or anything (and we would all have been happy to pretend she wasn't pregnant no matter how pregnant she got). I believe binge-watching might have helped me not to feel there was a mishandling in their relationship? Maybe I was just VERY MUCH IN NEED of a cute ship and a fun show, so I didn't really thought it was, but I will rewatch the show before season 5 starts, and I'll be able to pay more attention to stuff like that, so we'll see how that goes. Don't worry, feelings are to be had and shared :D

YESSS A NEW JONAH x AMY VID!!! I love your vids about them so much. They're always so great, and this one makes no exception - I love the clips and VOs and song and everything you chose for it ♥ As for the pregnancy thing, I agree with you, I don't like it either. Though the thing I disliked the most about this storyline is how Kelly was treated tbh haha... She's so cute and deserved so much better. Otherwise I do think they'll make this pregnancy storyline work - I hope so at least. And maybe some funny things will come out of it? Anyways the end of season 3 was still great with the "sex tape" haha, and as you said we'll see how it goes in September!! But once again I truly really loved this vid, I love it so much when you vid these two :D

very cute and sweet vid! of course i agree, def the pregnancy is awkward and random and unnecessary. the only thing that got me reconsidering that its not the most stupid story is based off some other comment i read on the internet lol-- that maybe they decided she can do a "fresh start" but like start with the same kinda circumstances as when she was a teen mom. before, she thought she had to sacrifice and give up her life but now she can go for what she wants ... while also raising her ex husband's second child? lol i def don't think they will have them become friends because their relationship is the heart of the show-- like you said. he has no life experience but thinks he does from just documentaries and books so he can remain optimistic and she has too much experience esp for her age so she has become jaded, then the two have to reconcile their view points-- which was demonstrated well in that argument they had after she kissed him. i feel like the show will keep them around each other because that crash of perspectives is so ubiquitous today and needs to be explored, and they are doing that really well. sorry lol

Honestly no it hasn’t changed. I got a bit hopeful after the first season 4 episode, where they looked cute and were secretly together and I was like hmm ok maybe the writers will make this work. But then the episode where she gave birth happened.. and I was totally disappointed all over again. It was so hard for me to believe that they had been together for over 3 months yet hadn’t had any discussion of what they were doing or what they meant to each other.. then when she had the baby they could have at least given them a cute moment of some sort but all we got was a look... like no after 3 years of build up I expected more. Also now that she’s had the baby I bet they will rarely ever bring him up, just like they never mention Emma. So I feel like the whole pregnancy storyline was so pointless. And finally when they announced they were dating, to me it just felt so lacklustre and kind of fell flat. The episode had such a good premise with Jonah saying he didn’t see a future at cloud 9 and amy seeming disappointed. Why couldn’t they again have given them some sort of private moment of him assuring her he wanted to stay.. all we got was them telling their coworkers they were together and no one caring. It just feels so weird to me that 7 episodes into seeing them dating we haven’t gotten a conversation about their feelings or a another cute moment like at the end of 4x01 or anything. I understand it’s a comedy but why would they introduce an obvious romantic pairing from the very first episode if you are afraid of having real conversations. I dunno, for me if just feels like we deserve more after their epic build up of 3 seasons. So ya I’m personally just still waiting for that, but to be honest I’m kind of not putting my trust in the writers anymore, they lost it the minute they introduced the pregnancy storyline. I’ll just wait and go along with whatever happens I guess. I know that sounds depressing haha, I still love these two so much I’m just tired of them not being written to their full potential. Sorry for that novel lol!

oh don’t worry about rambling.. what the writers did to this relationship honestly infuriated me so I can go on and on about it lol.. but yup the pregnancy definitely turned out to be the beginning of the end for these two for me.. i used to make videos of them all the time but this was the last one I ever made of them.. cause season 4 was a shit show after this.. the whole pregnancy aside they just completely didn’t know how to write these two as a couple in my opinion, we saw them kiss one time and had like no verbalization of their feelings for each other and it was just so awkward.. they had cuter interactions before they were dating!! Season 5 got slightly better I guess cause honestly I think the writers heard the fans disappointment on twitter lol.. but by then I was already kinda checked out ugh.. such a shame they had such a great build up. So at this point I’m just meh about them and just as well since America is leaving and Ben isn’t so like... obviously I don’t see how a relationship will still be possible? Whatever I’m out lol Sorry for my ramble haha!! Clearly I’m still mad about this and your comment reignited my feelings oops 😂

It's like they got together and then meh. It sucks bc simmosa could've been way better, especially since they started out great. But later, they just kept messing with them. Oh well, at least Mateo's story kept me going. :)))
