Even in his disobedience and stubbornness, GOD showed mercy on Jona This story also tells me that when God has chosen his faithful to do something, his will be done! For he could have called anyone to take Jonah's place, but he didn't. It also shows me how God can change his mind if you repent! Moses pleaded with God many times for the children of Isreal, and God changed his mind about not accompanied them on their journey!

JONAH DROWNED for the Holy Spirit authors scripture and he says Jonah said the gates of death enclosed him from the living. And so he drowned and God prepared a whale to preserve his body from being eaten by predators of the deep. And so in death he was preserved for 3 days and 3 nights like JESUS in the grave and he was vomited on shore by the whale and ressurreted to go preach repentance to the ninivites. And the story has many meaning of disobedience to GODS commands. If we fail to do GODS commandments we are committing suicide for if we disobey God we gave away our life chance to live in eternity with him . Its a warning of death to those who think their belief and or opinion is above the word of GOD death will be our portion Amen🙏

Hopefully people realize the Bible is a recital of what has taken place in the consciousness of man, of the results of his working, either intelligently with the law or unintelligently against it, in seeking his own salvation. It gives an explanation of spiritual law as applied to man and tells him how to find the kingdom of heaven within. Else it becomes literal, or exoteric. [edit] In a deeper meaning Jonah signifies an error sense of justice and right in individual consciousness that prophesies evil to the evildoer and condemns him without mercy or saving grace, because love and mercy do not enter into its idea of justice and Truth. Unforgiving thoughts, which in one form or another are back of all evil prophecies, react on the thinker and cause him to have hard experiences. [end edit]
