All Australian Rugby fans absolutely loved Jonah and Joost as players and men. It was gut wrenching seeing players like Ruben Kruger, Jonah Lomu, Jerry Collins and Joost van der Westhuisen all die far too early and in the middle of their lives. RIP to the legends.

They loved the game and the friendship created and perhaps that's more important than anything else. This video tells us that. You win some games and you lose some games but you never lose the love for the game and the eternal friendship between players. The memories of these two great legends will teach us to continue in this way in the future.

No human deserves this horrible disease but Joost fought bravely just like he did in every game he played, whether it be for the boks or the bulls. 2 legends and arguably the greatest in their respected positions to ever play the wonderful game.
@landibear6509 Жыл бұрын
The sad thing is there are more and more rugby players being diagnosed with the disease and there is apparently a link between multiple concussions and them developing the disease. Something in the brain takes this dormant disease and pretty much wakes it up in people who play sports where there is a lot of head trauma. Rugby, NFL, Boxing, etc. So much so that there are doctors who have recommended for instance that people stop playing Rugby completely.
