Formidable, simplemente formidable. Hoy en día Kaufmann se ha ganado el respeto y la admiración del público operístico por sus grandes actuaciones. Sus papeles como Werther, o como éste, el Don José de Carmen, se van volviendo proverbiales. Actualmente creo que nadie, salvo Roberto Alagna, interpreta este papel con tal intensidad.
