Jonas, I have never posted a comment on KZbin but your video epitomizes the joy of flying and inspired me to do so. I remember my girlfriend and I roaming around Australia in our little 4x4 trout fishing and camping and your adventures really take me back. Now after 25 years we will be doing the same in our RV14 just a little further, faster and higher. Keep loving life!!!

Greetings from Bend, Oregon! I have been enjoying your videos for sometime, Jonas! This is a pretty cool one: you two both have true love in your eyes! I pray, truly, that yours is the 'once in a lifetime' happily ever after! On another topic, after going flying (over an Interstate, a 40' wide flood channel and over a fence 15' above both of those, landing 45-50' on the other side of the fence...in my new Mazda 6, totally it) in New Mexico last month, I've decided to buy a Kitfox instead of another new car, then put a license plate frame on my decade old 2nd car, a nice Subaru wagon, that says: 'My other car is a Kitfox'! I did my ground school back in the 1970s, and some of my flight school, too, but never finished...but you, Jonas, have inspired me to do so, now! Thank you for that, brother! Great videos! Keep them coming!! Blessing to you both! Safe flying, in the air, and in love, too! ; - )

Great Videos guys. On your comments about marriage Jonas, wow I don't know man! Silvija has such a lovely nature, and girls do not come any prettier, why wait. Make her part of your country, a true asset, before she decides not to come back after one of her three month stints in her land. When she smiles at the camera, I smile too, it is so catching and beautiful. I have already viewed your latest video with the awesome new mini-home, but this episode justified my comment due to your answers to questions. You are a very capable person and your videos are very interesting, keep them coming, TOGETHER, for you make such a compatible and fun-loving couple.

Hi dear ones, I love your video´s. I´m a German pilot but I own the FAA Licence too, and I flew a lot in the Staates. My best flights have been over the Grand Canyon area and as I´v been in Florida, I got the clearance to fly over the whole Kennedy Space Center including a low approach over the shuttle runway, amazing! And to watch your video´s reminds me every time, how much fun I had with flying in the US. Many happy landings and greetings from good old Germany, yours, Wolfgang :-)))))

Jonas thanks for some great content. I'm an old guy who no longer fly's but get tremendous joy out of your videos. I have about 240 hours in various UL type vehicles, including some time in the kitfox. Most of my time was in a Pioneer Flightstar. I've flown it, the Challenger, the Kolb Firestar, Zenith CH-701 and various certificated aircraft. Bush flight has always been my favorite type of flying.

Jonas, take it from some one who has been flying since 1974, raised 4 daughters, now have two grand daughters, have a daughter in law, and knows a little about women. You have a real sweetheart there with Silvija, you will never do better, you better seal the deal and make it official with her, don't over think it. Hello to the both of you. I have seen this video but I'll comment again on the title. Or rather comment again. This time on the title. What you do for a living can be completely different than what you do to live. It seems like you have a really good combination of both and are truly a fortunate man and young lady. I hope it stays that way for the both of you. Never let the dream of flight get old. Always remember the day when you looked up and said "one day I'm going to be up there!"

Just checked the statutes in Texas. State highways, roads and streets are forbidden unless an emergency, and to prevent loss of life and property. County maintained roads, your mileage varies from county to county. There are plenty of public and private airstrips for access. Of course, that does not stop the odd petroleum company helicopter from setting down on a highway median for a lunch stop at the local BBQ joint... True story.

Jonas is such a classy name! We named our oldest son Jonas. You seem to be almost as classy as he is, but then again I'm partial!😁 He and his lovely wife live in Idaho Falls. I was blessed to meet Silvija last summer, as she was trying to sell us some books, here in American Falls. Even though we were unable to buy any books, we were both very impresses with Silvija. Not only is she gorgeous, but she is charming and a very genuine, down to earth girl! (Did I mention that we were impressed?) In fact, after she left, I told my wife, "That girl will be back to Idaho." So, it was pretty wild to see her on your channel. You are both very wise to not be hurried into marriage due to immigration regulations, but DAMN dude, don't dawdle!!!!!😉😆😆😆😇

Jonas, for the forward vision problem, purchase a CMOS sensor, AKA a backup camera get the one with the green/yellow/red lines. Look for the one that follows the direction you are moving, the lines will bend in the direction you are travelling. Mount it up high by the top of the windscreen, or under the belly. Under the belly helps with gravel bar landings as well. They have night vision as well. Example: www.amazon.com/dp/B07T8FKV36/ref=psdc_2230642011_t3_B07V79NBVJ You can send the signal to a cell, tablet or a fixed display. Oh, and this one has a WIFI option so you just power it and send it wireless to your device. I use these as secondary cameras on my drones, ROV's and tracked fire fighting robots.

I can relate to the stick and throttle issue. I learned to fly in a Super Cub but later I moved and switched to an aeroclub where they only had the Robin DR400 as a stick equipped plane (rather than yoke). But it was throttle in the middle and stick in your left hand. I'm used to it now, though.
