For the easier difficulty voice line: You could place a voice line of Squid complimenting his "flawless program" or "superior code execution" (or something along those lines) so that he can still sort of trash talk without shaming the player. Also for difficulty up you could say stuff like "adjusting fitness parameters" or "adjusting training model" or something like that. I just think that a neural net reference would be perfect for a difficulty increase! Alternatively you could dynamically adjust difficulty based on time between deaths, or deaths for the current checkpoint, or something to that extent. Looks like an amazingly fun game so far, I can't wait to play!

You motivated me to make a little puzzle game for fun, once I have a bit more time. I love how much you can transport your enthusiam for game development throught these videos. A few years back I bought the RPG Maker VX Ace but never ended up making a game, probably in part because I wanted to do something way too big right away. Especially your videos about like "50 Games in a day" or "Making a game in 72 hours" showed me how much more motivating it can be to make small projects you can finish in a reasanble amount of time. I also really enjoy the devlogs on will you snail, because it just shows how much work and thought goes into every detail of a game and how cleverly solved a lot of the mechanics of the game are behind the scenes. I'd say that I wish you'd make more videos, but hoestly you're already releasing a gigantic amount of videos if I consider that you're also developing a huge game on your own, so I'm really greatful that you take the time and I hope the added attention will ensure that your game is a huge success.
