Jonathan Buckley MLA responds to the Kingsmill inquest

Upper Bann DUP MLA Jonathan Buckley addresses the Northern Ireland Assembly following the publication of the findings of the Kingsmill inquest.
Mr Buckley was one of the DUP representatives who were present in the Coroners Court in Belfast for the publication of findings and he outlined the DUP's support for an inquiry into the sectarian attack that was planned, sanctioned and carried out by the Provisional IRA.

During the Northern Ireland Conflict, colloquially known as the Troubles, just over 1,000 +++ of the more than 3,500 deaths that occurred in the conflict have been attributed to loyalist paramilitary groups, Kingsmill was a portion of this number. The killings were done particularly Quote: by the Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) and Ulster Defence Association (UDA) and UDR. These loyalist killings were a massively tragic part of the complex and violent history that occurred during that period. It’s important to remember the impact this conflict had on innocent lives and the communities affected so perhaps if Jonathan could speak for ALL the murdered citizens his voice might bring the families who suffered a little peace of mind. RIP all victims.
