It is even worse, the queen chose to shuffle off this mortail coil in Scotland, not England, and she was so close to it at that point that she would not even chance go back for a change of PM, she forced them all to come to her in Scotland, and the rumours are she was not happy with what the tory pary had turned England into, and of course theur criminal activites, and she was after for 70 years as the face of the commonwealth and its people and values, but here come the likes of Farage, Johnson, Gove and Mogg to turn England into a xenophobic little cesspit of hate, but i suspect you will hear more of this as time passes and people start to speak out....but it is quite telling she chose to leave surround by the Scots than the English. ;)

@@chickensprint Island of Ireland was never a United country likewise with the main island of the British Isles was not always under one Government. In history Ireland was ruled by five separate warring fiefdoms. The so called Unionist or Protestants have lived on the island of Ireland for many centuries as long as Europeans have lived in the Americas. If there is a border poll and they vote to join, they can join the republic. If they want to stay in the U.K. or become their own separate state it is up to them. They can also partition Northern Ireland again so that some of the border areas that want to be in the republic should be allowed to join. The republics claim to Northern Ireland is nothing more than a territorial land grab. Pretty similar to the claim over Gibraltar by Spain or Argentina of the Falkland Islands or perhaps Greek Cypriots over Turkish Cyprus or Turkey or Turkish Cyprus. Satisfaction arrangements have occurred before such as Singapore becoming a separate self governing state deprecate from Malaysia. An even better example is Switzerland where individual Canton Governments control the local area which allows three not two as in Northern Ireland linguistic cultures (German, French, Italian) to go-exist in a highly successful country.

@@henrysevern Those Irish Kingdoms weren't different nations they were just different political entities owned by different kings. Nobody uses the borders of historical Kingdoms for the basis of where Nation-States should have their borders otherwise Germany would claim the entire Holy Roman Empire. You're talking utter nonsense about land grabs when the only reason Northern Ireland exists is because of a land grab by the English known as the conquest of Ireland.

If King Charles supports B.L.M., he must support Irish reunification in good conscience if he wants to atone for previous invasions and subjugation of the Irish population.

The King’s great-grandfather, King George V, was a great lover of Ireland. It was King George V who in 1920 demanded that the British Government call off the Black and Tans. King George V even wrote at the time of “My Dear Irish People”, and prayed that one day we could achieve Peace and Reconciliation in Ireland. So it’s no surprise that his great-grandson King Charles shares that respect for Ireland, and disdain for those (the DUP) who are preventing cooperation and reconciliation. Spoken from a moderate Unionist perspective.

Indeed, before he was King George V planned to spend 6 days in Ashford, Cong on the border of Mayo and Galway. When he got there he fell in love with the place and spent a full 5 weeks there!

@@davekeating. You may not be familiar with Irish history, but Kevin Barry is dead actually. So that suggestion is a bit stupid 🤦🏻♂️ If King George had anything to do with it, Kevin Barry would have lived a long and happy life. King George completely opposed the Kilmainham Gaol executions.
