I agree. This is my first year using Jonathan Green verigreen this year and although I think I waited too late to do so here in central/southern Maryland, my lawn is looking amazing. Hopefully it still cuts down on some weed pressure. Your church project has come a long way. Looks great. It'll only get better.

I use Veri-Green without pre emergent. I use a separate application of dimension as a pre emergent. I feel the fertilizers with weed and feed don’t have enough of the food or the pre emergent. If you’re feeding the lawn that’s all you should be doing is feeding it.

Never been a fan of "Weed & Feed" type products. Will be interested to see the results.

I used some in the beginning of my lawn journey, but been awhile since I’ve used it as well. I’m confident it will do just fine.

Congrats on the new Earthway spreader. That thing is on my wish list for sure. I used to use that junk Scotts small spreader which I ended up throwing across my yard out of frustration. Wife bought me an Echo spreader which looks way better than the Scotts.

Echo is a great choice, but price wise for me, Earthway was the way.

Man, I’m happy you got the Earthway. I’ve yet have been able to dial it in. Maybe you can help with that in the future haha! Also, I plasti dip the in/outside of the wheels in matte black. Very cheap and easy and makes the spreader look a million times better fyi! The Timemaster is next.

I do the same thing after every use. I have the echo spreader and I wash and spray it down. Gotta make that thing last

Great content as always. I’ve about had it with my old Scott’s Speedy Green 3000 broadcast spreader and had looked at the Earthway spreader. I’m excited to see your opinion.

Sucks that the most effective products are not safe for children/pets. Do you have any recommendations for summer lawn care plans that are all-natural?

I do not. However, as NC State said, all natural has pros and cons too

Great video. I already bought granular prodiamine from yard mastery but I’m going to get veri green for my fall pre-emergent, am I correct on that? I’m in Delaware so it’s not quite time for pre emergent yet. Thank you!

I’m sorry but I’m so confused! I thought I had to switch from prodiamine to Dithiopyr or vice versa as to not use too much of one or the other in one season. Meaning prodiamine in spring and Dithiopyr in fall?

The project lawn is looking great love the drone footage as well hard to believe that last year it all looked like that steep bank. Any way what are y'all's soil temps over there in the triangle??

Thanks David, you are correct. It was untouched land a year ago. Just weeds and mix grasses. We are around 50 soil temps, but higher air temps coming this week.
