Secondly, during the bass kick breakdown near the end, was it a conscientious decision to go with deeper hits, sometimes higher "cracks", or was it sample failing or another reason? Thanks for everything ... you killed the History tour!

Anthony King hi Anthony! Most everything with Michaels shows are with click except for the J5 medley and She's Out of My Life. The breakdown was my decision to play harder hits and harder crashes. It's what Michael wanted, but I decided the intensity...

History tour ... what elements are on the click?!?!? :-p I'm guessing some of the hits are samples but I can't work out any click elements on that song. I have danced to your music for many years sir ... what a honour! You don't mess around :-) (My "feeling"/"ears" :-p was that on the History tour: Wanna be and J5 medley had no click track elements ... Wanna be drums were GREAT!!! Great attack sound on the snare especially as well as crazy rhythm! Blessings to you!

Click is a metronome for the drummer (and sometimes the other musicians) to play along to, in order to keep things rhythmically solid as possible. But also there are times where there are sound effects or other samples being dropped in specific parts of the song. So the click the drummer follows assures that he/she won't speed up or slow down the track and have those samples fall in the wrong spots of the song, as those samples are prerecorded and happen on their own within the clicktrack that the drummer is playing to. Sorry for the long definition, but hopefully that helps. :)
