To me it made perfect sense & it has been my personal experience all along... if I know everything about a work of art in advance, I most often can’t be arsed to execute it at all since there is no element of surprise or discovery there. Who says that art can't be bullshit? Art doesn't always have to be pretty pictures or thought-provoking pieces. Outside the realm of art, we already spend our time doing and consuming shit that doesn't matter, so we might as well afford art that same luxury.
