Jonathan Richman on french TV show "Houba Houba" hosted by Antoine de Caunes. He sings the never recorded "Tahitian Hop" plus "Abdul & Cleopatra". Both songs are subtitled in french. As a bonus there's an interview with Antoine de Caunes.

It is about time somebody recognized the genius of Jonathan Richman. I have been listening to him since the seventies. If you want to talk Avant garde, He is on par with the Velvet underground., Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa. You could also include Roky Erickson. I'm A Little Airplane , let's give him his recognition before he passes away like so many others that were not given their due.
