I am Protestant - my husband is Catholic - we seem so many miles apart, but hearing this speech made me realize that it's not about the religion you are - it's about how YOU choose to walk with God. I dropped to my knees and gave my life over to God, and since that day, I have walked every day with Jesus by my side - I want to read my bible every day - I want to pray every day and I want my LIGHT to SHINE to everyone around me so that they can see Christ in me. Being BORN AGAIN is about recognizing that our purpose here is all about our God and not us...

*_Amen!_* Complete surrender to God and to Christ are the two most important things we can do. Finding the ZERO ego is the essence of finding the Narrow Gate which leads Home to God and Heaven as part of the Body of Christ. God bless your message and thank you for sharing. 😎♥✝🇺🇸💯

Have you ever wondered why you are called protestant ?
@a_rose_from_cali4 ай бұрын
I am also a Protestant and I can totally understand where you’re coming from. Catholics and Protestants have many theological differences, but every time I listen to Jonathan speak about our Lord it makes me realize how much more we have in common. Earlier this year at an interview he gave at Azusa Pacific University he said, “There’s more that unites us than divides us in the person of Jesus Christ.” I pray that the rift between you and husband would be healed and that a closer walk with Him unites you both as only He can do, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

come on how different are catholic Vs protestant as compared to Christian Vs Jew? Lol. Jesus is a Christian figure not a catholic or Protestant figure. Your comment should be more for an actor of 1 of the 2 popes or of Henry VIII or something maybe.

If you watched The Chosen, it is really not how YOU choose to walk with God. Throughout the show you see his students trying to walk their own way and Jesus repeatedly saying there is one way, His way!

@@JesusChrist-mr9zb How odd and sad that your class, and possibly your families in attendance, squandered such a wonderful opportunity. My son is a grade younger than you and would have loved and truly appreciated hearing Jonathan speak. And so would I!!!Possibly his background vs your classmates? I’m not sure??? He grew up from 2nd grade on watching his mom take care of his dad after a major hemorrhagic stroke. Then when he was 17, beginning of his senior year, his dad died in our home from cancer. It was 2 days before my son’s 18th birthday. Catholic college was out of the question so he is attending a small local state school to save money. (His choice, not mine) He is working his butt off and enjoying it. He loves his mom and Jesus and is unapologetic in his Catholic faith. He was extremely blessed to be able to stay at his Catholic grade school. An anonymous person wrote a check covering 4th through 8th grade. At the end of 7th grade, I got a call from the local Catholic high school. A different anonymous person wrote a check covering all 4 years of high school. To this day we don’t know who these angels are but we will never forget what they did for our little family. Sorry for rambling, but I’m an extremely proud mom of a wonderful, genuine and kind son. But, hey, kudos to you and yours for “being polite”. And I’m looking forward to Jonathan as Jesus in season 4 of The Chosen! ✝️🙏

So true Jonathan. I had a surrender moment myself that was powerful like yours. God solved my problem in only 4 hours. He sold our house, and rejoined our family while I had been trying to work full time, clean and repair our house for sale, and take care of 3 kids under 7. When I came in from ýard work and found my 4 yr old asleep on the floor, I knew it was time to cry, ask forgiveness, and surrender. In 2 days we accepted a cash offer and moved cross country, rejoining our family and following His plan. Thanks for sharing your story.❤

Gracias Dr. Roumie por este mensaje a la nueva generación de graduados. 3 puntos importantes: 1. Ser Jesús para otros en el mundo. Representar a Jesús en cualquier lugar y en todo momento. 2. Ampliar la vida de oración. Incluir ayuno y arrepentimiento. 3. Rendir nuestra vida completamente a Dios.

**Jonathan Roumie: An Exemplar of Faith and Inspiration** Jonathan Roumie is not only a talented actor but also an exemplar of faith and inspiration for millions of people worldwide. His remarkable portrayal of Jesus Christ in the series "The Chosen" has not only touched the hearts of many but also positively changed lives, including my own. In a world often marked by negativity and doubt, Roumie radiates a beam of hope through his empathetic and authentic portrayal of Jesus Christ. His dedication to the role goes beyond mere acting and reflects his deep understanding and reverence for faith. "The Chosen" has not only influenced the lives of millions but also provided a fresh perspective on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Roumie's exceptional talent and commitment deserve recognition and respect. Therefore, it is only fitting that Jonathan Roumie be awarded an honorary doctorate for his work. His portrayal of Jesus Christ has not only enriched television but also touched hearts and transformed lives. May his example inspire us all to carry faith, hope, and love into the world.

Amen brother. We started our youth group, after resurrecting it from the COVID scraps, with you. One year ago, May 21st, 2023. The Metanoia Club. We started with your surrender, in your short video with Bishop Robert Barron. With your surrender, and letting it be ours. From 5 guys we are at roughly 20-25 young kids who come to learn what it might be like to surrender to Christ, on a daily basis, for the rest of their lives. 22 event dates later, our club meets to learn how to surrender and have a change of heart and mind to Christ. We are ready to start year two. Thank you for a great beginning and your trust in Him who is everything, for everyone.
