Actor Jonathan Roumie and executives Kathy Warnock and Mark Watt appeared backstage at the 11th Annual K-LOVE Fan Awards pressroom and reacted to ‘Jonathan & Jesus’ being voted the winner of the TV/Streaming Impact award. They reflected on how ‘Jonathan & Jesus’ built on the success of ‘The Chosen’ as well as how these TV projects have influenced the perception of Christianity in North America.

The Catholic Church preserved, compiled, translated, chose the books to include and declared the Bible canon in 382 under Pope Damasus at the Council of Rome. Jesus didn’t leave us a Bible but He did leave us a church (Matthew 16:18). Evodius was the person who coined the term “Christian.” Traditon says Ignatius was one of the children Jesus Blessed in scripture.

Thank you for showing this. Last night on TBN they didn't show much of the acceptance speech. Love Jonathan and Jesus and The Chosen. The Bible has come much more alive and impactful since watching it. It truly is the best thing I've ever watched. The Jonathan and Jesus was amazing as well. I love seeing the authentic Jonathan and how God has been working in his life. The interviews with the special guests were also amazing!

Just love The Chosen!! I watch at least 3 series a night) and cry every time! I loved your story when you were little and built a cross and nails and paint it red!!! My girlfriend told me about the series and even gave me the first 3 series! I love the way you laugh; drink wine and I wish I was at all Jesus sermons. Just think you're the real Jesus when you talk, laugh.
