His depictions of Jesus has brought tears to my eyes many a time as I watched the play of emotions across his very expressive face visualising Christ Jesus speaking the words. Jonathan has portrayed Jesus in such a perfect way. He has made our Lord and the time of his being here so very real. He is a human playing God. God was in the world as human. Just so difficult to do. Both would have problems and challenges for different reasons. But Jonathon has portrayed Jesus with honesty and spiritual integrity. He has done his best and it’s all one can ask. He has given us a gift of his God given talent. I hope and pray that he doesn’t pay a high price for such brilliance. Certainly the dark side will not appreciate such excellence at this quite brilliant and understated portrayal of our Lords perfection.

I did portray Jesus in a role, in a play at one church. It was only for a couple hours, but still it was amazing. Much more demanding was when I went to India minister the Gospel. God had me take on the appearance of Jesus, growing my beard and hair, and wearing white "pajama" clothing with sandals. God led me to speak for very large crowds, where they came to hear the American who had the physical appearance much like we imagine Jesus's was. I walked into villages, and the kids came and ran up to me, took my hands, and asked me if I was Jesus. I told them, "No, but I'm here as his representative, to proclaim his teachings." Then, the people in the villages came and ran up to me, asking for healing prayer. They even grabbed my hands, and put them on their own foreheads, asking for prayer. I did pray, and God was very faithful to hear them. At several villages, in various houses, I prayed for so many people, that I collapsed from exhaustion. They carried me off so that I would rest. At the location I was staying, people would walk for 8 hours just to come to the place where I was, just so they could get prayed for. I did pray for them, whenever they came, even if I was sleeping from the powerful heat that I was not used to. God was so much my strength, and was with me every step of the way. I was just following his leading and instructions. He arranged for all the events, places I spoke, and the results that people experienced. When I spoke to large crowds of 5000 or more, on a nightly basis, I would start by telling all people with illnesses to stand up, and that I would ask God to heal them all. They were told to sit once they felt that God had heard them. Slowly, people began to sit, then more, and then more, until finally everyone was seated, and the place was quiet as a church. Then, I would teach from the Bible, using an interpreter. After teaching them, the Lord told me to go down into the crowd, and pray for them some more. They put my hands on their heads, and I prayed. I blessed their children. I had people bring demonically obsessed people, and I told them what to repent of, and then commanded the spirits to come out. The people would fall to the ground, screaming and shrieking. Then, they would stand up, totally freed. The largest crowd I spoke to was a crowd of 60,000 people. I was the only non-Indian to ever speak there at that place. The Lord had me spend 4 months there in India, where I was taken all over the place, to speak in churches everywhere, and also in big fields with large crowds. It was a time I'll never forget. A time of amazing miracle and the work of God.

I worry about him when they film season 6 which is about the crucifixion. For a man of faith, and wanting to tell this story correctly and do it justice he is going to give it everything he has. I know it will take a toll on him. I hope he has a good support group surrounding him❤🙏

So imagine going to work for 8 weeks everyday and having to undergo that. It will be traumatic for him. It will be traumatizing to watch, but I will because like you said this story must be told. They have such a wonderful cast and crew that I am sure they will rely on one another for support but 8 weeks of portraying that one day will be traumatizing for sure.

Jonathan…you were chosen by God for the role of His precious Son. You have honored Him with your portrayal because you know the Word. You have asked Him in faith to speak through you, which He has done. Your life has become an offering to Him. He loves you very much and will sustain you as you continue to give yourself to Him. This is your calling. This is your service. Through your sacrifice you have brought thousands to repentance and God’s forgiveness. God has used you in this way, as He has used others gifts and talents for His Kingdom. In these last days He is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh as He said He would because He is not willing for any to perish. But they must have the opportunity to hear the Gospel so that they can make the choice. Some day you will receive a crown for your service to Him to lay at His feet as will all who have sacrificed for Him out of their love for Him. It is obvious that you DO love Him! A month ago a good friend of mine who recently accepted Christ as his Lord and savior, watched the series and liked it so much, he talked me into watching it also.... I guess I turned my back on Jesus but I didn’t realize it until I watched The Chosen. Thank you for portraying Jesus. You did a great job. I suffer from chronic pain. I’ve been praying for healing. The scene where Little James asked you why you (Jesus) haven’t healed him really touched my heart. I’ve watched all seasons about 7 times. When I watch The Chosen it helps me to calm down when I’m having a bad moment from the pain. I can’t wait to get to heaven I know this is only temporary here on earth. I won’t be in pain in heaven. I just really pray that God takes this pain from me.

Oh my word. I cry for every episode. I think sometimes its going to help with my depression, but its so much I can't. But imagine playing the part of Jesus overwhelming is there another word? I can imagine Jonathan being depressed. I can only imagine the pain, the hurt so many thing come to mind its mind-boggling. But my prayers will always be with him. When is the rest of season 4 coming out and where can I watch it? I was watching it on KZbin. Before The Chosen was shown in theaters, watching it on The Chosen channel was no problem. Now I can't seem to get it there.??? I just want to watch this full series before I pass away. And hopefully see the real Jesus, fall at his feet nonstop crying for the sins that I've done that helped put him through so much pain. I am a Catholic, and was a Sacriston at my church. I need Jesus more than ever. I'm not well.

I watched the lord work through you ! His plan as he has more for you ….i understand the overwhelmed feeling in a similar way….but when you say no and no and no….he finds a way to work within you, his guidance sometimes all his words to move forward in some of the downright sad and unequipped situation…. He will lead you if asked and prayed upon…. What a blessing on screen and your background all that you did to take on all aspects of this role. You are blessed! So blessed. The crucifixion is when satan lost us. Jesus dying on the cross freed us from satans hell. Jesus gave us our salvation. Of course satan is gonna try to stop you. Prayers are many. We love you
