Jonathan; Everything you do seems to alway be in such good taste and provides inspiration to the rest of us. You really are a treasure. I have a brand new Duesenberg 'Split King' in black and ivory that I am just getting into. Your video inspires me to take it slow, be methodical and that 'less is more' for the time being. After 50 years with electric and acoustic guitars this will be a refreshing, new journey. As always, thank you for what you do and for all of the inspiration along the way.

Nice, thanks for sharing. I decided a couple weeks ago I wanted to try a new instrument. I’ve always loved the sound of steel guitar and growing up in Hawaii I knew lots of friends and family who played them. I saw Luke and Troy you mentioned and had to have one. After finding out about Duesenberg I I discovered there was a dealer here in New Zealand. They actually had a Fairytail split king in stock so I bought it today. I’m looking forward to getting it and playing it. You just inspired me again too, have been watching your vids for years good to know I got the right guitar. 🙂 God Bless!

It's absolutely beautiful. I have a Duesey Starplayer TV and have been eyeing one of these for quite awhile now and will pick one up someday. Be sure to wipe down all the nickel hardware with a soft cloth after playing to remove all the fingerprint and palm print oils to prevent corrosion. Nickel hardware corrodes and pits crazy fast without proper care.

Kind Sir, you and your subscribers; might find this interesting; about your Deusenberg Steel Guitar "multi-bender". For I was asked 25 yrs ago; to write a book about the evolution of the Pedal Steel Guitar. Which "bends" it's strings; by using foot pedals and knee levers. So I did it: and got it copyrighted in 2008. I did this because I'm NOT a good SG player atoll; but I love to play it alone. So I wanted to know: everything about how the PSG worked. And that is why many SG players asked me to write the book. On the "Steel Guitar Forum". I said all of that; to say this; I fell in love with Luke Goetze's and Martin Hutch's playing. I believe they are 2 of the greatest on this incredible "Multi-bender"; that I have heard to date. But I now will add a 3rd player of this awesome Bender guitar. And that is YOU kind Sir. Thank you for making this video. It is beautiful to listen to. Incidentally: Deusenberg says that you can have only 5 Benders. But on my benders; I found a way to have 6 Benders. Allowing any string to be bended. And all I did; was buy thinner nylon washers; that are between the bender's, on the axle. embellish.
