Great pedal, I use it with the Tubeman into the Morning Star, great classic rock / heavy rock tones, plugged into a Fender Blues Deluxe with a Tele fitted with Bare Knuckle pups.

You use many guitars but what better - buy Old Japanese guitar or new Fusion II FR? In choosing, I want to avoid possible problems, both with defect and with the stability of the new tree. Which is better to take: old or new at a price of 350 euros. It is in terms of avoiding costly repairs (including when fresh wood dries out). I will be very grateful

All we need now is a dual modulation (maybe chorus+phaser) and you could cover most bases with a few Verdugo series pedals. Masamune>Ace>Modulation>DuoTime and/or Atlantic. Solid Studio for direct/ampless/silent playing. JTC for loops & drums. The only stage missing is high gain/Distortion/Fuzz, but a single pedal like a Recto or *insert favourite affordable high gain pedal here* would do the job. I guess for mod, the Nux Mod Core Deluxe is pretty good - it has nice chorus and a really good rotary - that would be an option. However, I like the idea of a higher quality, dedicated dual mod pedal. The Jam Pedals Ripply Fall is amazing but costs more than my apartment... Very nice playing and thorough demo. Thanks

Looks like a clone of the JHS Double Barrel which is a Morning Glory (Blues Breaker style OD) combined with the Moonshine (JHS tweak of a Tube Screamer).

Pretty sure that's almost exactly what it is. The Morning Star seems to be based on a prior version, which didn't have an additional gain switch you could toggle on.

So I see you’ve tried both Ace of Tone and Fireman - which would you say is the most versatile? My main interest is in being able to boost a great lead tone over the low to moderate gain rhythm track. Not so interested in high gain stuff - have amps for that :) subbed and thanks.
