Make a video on the Ruy Lopez. We love to see the Marshall Attack, The Open Lopez with the Dillworth Attack and the Karpov Gambit and of course The Siestavariation and the Schliemannvariation. We simply love sharp stuff.

STOP HATING the Kan! The best thing about the Kan is you avoid Rossolimo. Which you also hate, but are stuck playing when you go with the Taimanov. You don’t mention that in your video, and then praise the Taimanov while hating the Rossolimo. Another problem with the Taimanov is early NxN on c6, which might be good for black, but I’d always slowly get crushed in boring endgames against as black. With Kan, I save a tempo and move the N more flexibly. Also, Kan let’s you play the hedgehog, and so it doesn’t really matter what white does because the hedgehog works well in most lines. So you bemoan all the variations white has, and bemoan the hedgehog, but the hedgehog is what gives black a superdefense against white and counter play. Lastly, check out the game where Stockfish used the Kan to beat all the top super gms playing together as a team against the computer. The Kan won.

The Taimanov can avoid the Rossolimo, too.
